Milan Sheen

Footwear and accessory designer Milan Sheen captured my attention completely with her visionary shoes. Certainly more like art pieces than wearable shoes but they would have made such an impression in her accessories exhibition, I'm sure about that!

Masaya Kushino-Sputniko!: Healing Fukushima

 Shoe designer Masaya Kushino create "Healing Fukushima (Nanohana Heels)" in collaboration with a young Japanese designer- artist, Sputniko! The mechanical shoes automatically deposit seeds in the ground as the wearer walks in them and are part of a project to help rebuild Fukushima.

Anastasia Radevich: "Lost Civilizations"

“Lost Civilizations” narrates a story of the lost civilizations of the past, present and the future. The shoe pieces have textures reminiscent to those brought up from the depth of the oceans and aesthetics of those civilizations.
